Koh Rok & Koh Haa Snorkelling Day Trip by Speedboat
Krabi 8h 00min Saladan Pier, Koh Lanta Ref. LGZ-001
About This Tour
Koh Rok and Koh Haa are the two best snorkelling sites reachable from Koh Lanta in a day, and they could not be more different. Koh Rok is a pair of uninhabited national park islands with white sand and shallow hard-coral gardens; Koh Haa is a cluster of five limestone pinnacles with caverns, a natural chimney and water that regularly gives 25 metres of visibility.
This is our most popular trip with snorkellers who have already done the 4 Islands route and want something quieter.
Highlight
- Three snorkelling stops across two very different reef systems
- Thai buffet lunch on the beach at Koh Rok
- Swim into the Koh Haa "Cathedral" - a limestone chamber open to the sky
What to Expect
A longer day than the 4 Islands trip and a little more time in the water. The crossing to Koh Rok takes about an hour, if you are prone to seasickness, take something before you board. Between snorkelling stops there is plenty of time on the beach.

1. Round-trip transfer, hotel to pier
2. Speedboat with life jackets for all ages
3. Snorkelling mask, snorkel and fins
4. Thai buffet lunch, seasonal fruit, soft drinks

Who Is This Tour For?
Best suited to travellers who already enjoy snorkelling and are happy spending most of the day in and out of the water. Children from 4 years old are welcome. The crossing is exposed, so it is not the right trip for very young children.
I Know Before You Go
- Koh Rok and Koh Haa lie inside Mu Ko Lanta National Park and close annually, usually mid-June to mid-October
- Water shoes are useful on the Koh Rok beach
